WHEN AND HOW DO YOU EAT YOUR FRUITS?

Image: Wikipedia

Fruits are generally defined as those fleshy seed-associated structures of a plant
that are sweet or sour, and edible in the raw state, such as apples, bananas, grapes, lemons, oranges, and strawberries. They are essentially beneficial to us as humans to stay healthy and look brighter.

However, some people believe that eating fruits at a particular time of the day is bad for for this body. Researchers have made it clear that fruits are good for anyone no matter when and how you take them. To buttress my points, I will take you through the following observations through my research as to when to eat fruits;

1. Eating fruit with a meal can slow the emptying of your stomach but only by a small amount. This is actually a good thing as it may help you feel more full and cut back on calories.

2. For the majority of diabetics, eating fruit on an empty stomach isn’t great advice. Pairing fruit with a meal or snack is usually a better choice for people with diabetes

3. Your digestive system is more than prepared to digest and absorb the nutrients from fruit, whether it's eaten on an empty stomach or with a meal.

4. There is no evidence or logic behind the idea that fruit should preferably be eaten in the afternoon. Fruit is healthy no matter what time it is.

5. Eliminating fruit after 2 p.m. has no benefits and doesn’t affect your weight. Eating fruit is a good idea at any time of the day.
So Is There a Best Time to Eat Fruit?

The truth is that any time of the day is a great time to eat fruit.

There is no evidence that you should avoid fruit in the afternoon or around meals.

Enjoy your fruits anytime of the day,except if you are diabetic, you need to eat fruits with some food or snacks
